The statistics below were collected from various well known encyclopedias and United States government agencies. It should be noted that the total number of reported abortions is actually lower than the real world numbers. Some states did not report abortions to the CDC in certain years. This amounted to hundreds of thousands, if not millions of unreported abortions.

Babies Aborted In The United States
from 1970 to 2014
As Reported by the CDC.
IMPORTANT: Total shown is from under reporting. Not all states reported abortions in every year.
(see notes at left)
There have been claims that the abortion rate has consistantly decreased – but if one actually looks into what the statistics reveal, we are led to believe the “decrease” is more of a desired political motivation than reality. As the CDC pointed out in at least one report – since California had not reported that year, the statistics showed a decrease. Yet California is an extremely heavily populated as well as a state with a very high abortion rate. This will obviously mean that partial statistics then can not be a basis on which to assume a rate decrease.
Let us extract a few sickening facts from the data.
If we lined up all the wars end-to-end in which the United States fought, as if it were one long war, the results would have been a war that lasted 52 years and resulted in the deaths of 1,261,814 Americans. This would average nearly 66 1/2 deaths a day at a rate of about 1 death every 21.66 minutes.
If we count the deaths on both sides in the wars (lined up end-to-end, 52 years) the results is 33,186,187 deaths. This would average 1,748.48 deaths a day at a rate of about 1 death every 49.4 seconds.
Now, compare the reported abortions. Over 44 years (notice this is 8 fewer years than the 52 years of war above) Americans have murdered an unbelievable 45,151,389 innocent babies. This would average 2,811.42 killings a day at a rate of 1 murder every 30.73 seconds. This means 35.78 times as many innocent babies have been murdered than all the Americans murdered in all involved wars put together (and in less time).
Using the above averages we see that babies are being murdered at a rate of:
30 times that of all forms of gun deaths,
27 times that of all motor vehicle deaths,
1,222 times as die on bicycles.
Another statistic is that in 2017 the "Murder Capital of The United States" was Baltimore, Maryland with 341 murders. That means, on average, Baltimore experienced 0.93 murders a day – or about 0.039 murders per hour. Contrast that to 117.14 innocent babies murdered an hour, on average.
Can we think of a more hypocrytical nation as one that proclaims to be “One Nation Under God” – who weep and honor their war dead, mourn and place roadside markers for car accident victims, and arrest/fine parents who allow their children to ride bicycles without helmets… yet, ignores the murdering of innocent babies are rates that would have caused Adolf Hitler to blush at his incompetence (it is estimated that evil man and his evil society murdered about 11,000,000 people)?!
All humans are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). We can not murder and kill, and claim to be God’s nation or people. This goes for those murdering innocent babies, or those who wickedly justify themselves for violence against those who murder babies. ALL humans are made in the image of God and no excuse can ever justify purposely taking the lives of another human.
We as a nation, as a society, as each individual person must repent of our sins and turn to God in obedience to His Laws and Word. Only then can we receive forgiveness for all our sins – as a person, as a society, as a nation.
Even though our hands are soaked in innocent blood – we can (through repentance and obedience) be forgiven and made clean. We do not have to die in our sins. God has no pleasure in putting sinners to death – so repent and obey. Why will we die?
For those who may have had abortions or performed abortions – there is forgiveness… repent and obey God – He erases all the sins of those who are living in a repentative and obedient lifestyle. His Son died so you can be forgiven and be made as white as snow in His eyes.
He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Who will lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifies.
Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yes rather, that is risen again, Who is even at the right hand of God, Who also makes intercession for us.
Who will separate us from the love of Christ? will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For Your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
But we must repent and obey to receive this gift of forgiveness – and become God’s elect (chosen). Repent (which means to turn away from) of sins (1 John 3:4 – sin is breaking God’s Laws), and obey His Laws and Commands (Luke 6:46, John 14:15, 1 John 5:2-3). Because – in fact, there is no such thing as faith without obedience: Hebrews 11 – the entire chapter displays those who had faith which is proven by their obedience. James 2:17-26 just as our bodies without breath is dead, so faith can not exist without the works of obedience. Romans 3:31, Romans 6:2, Romans 6:15-16 – A life of faith does not do away with the Law. Faith requires obedience to exist and so Faith establishes the Law. We can not continue in sin (breaking God’s Law) if we are in faith – or else we have stopped serving God and turned to be the servants of sin.
But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he has committed, and keep all My statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he will surely live, he will not die.
All his transgressions that he has committed, they will not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he has done he will live.
Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? says the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
But when the righteous turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, will he live? All his righteousness that he has done will not be mentioned: in his trespass that he has trespassed, and in his sin that he has sinned, in them will he die.
Yet you say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not My way equal? are not your ways unequal?
When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, and dies in them; for his iniquity that he hath done will he die.
Again, when the wicked man turns away from his wickedness that he has committed, and does that which is lawful and right, he will save his soul alive.
Because he considers, and turns away from all his transgressions that he has committed, he will surely live, he will not die.
Yet says the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not My ways equal? are not your ways unequal?
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, says the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity will not be your ruin.
Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby you have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you die, O house of Israel?
For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dies, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live you.
